Short Bio

 Steffen Hage's work focuses on the neurobiology of social communication, particularly the neural basis of vocal behavior. He combines systems neuroscience and behavioral analysis to understand how the primate brain controls vocal communication and how this knowledge can inform our understanding of how human speech evolved in the primate lineage.
