Short Bio

Jean Laurens is a group leader at the Ernst Strüngmann Institute of the Max Planck Society in Frankfurt, where he studies how the brain maintains spatial orientation and represents self-motion. His research combines systems neuroscience, theoretical modeling, and behavioral and neuronal recordings in non-human primates and rodents.
