Short Bio

Eduardo Gascon is a neurobiologist interested in social cognition in rodents and marmosets. He has been studying naturally occurring genetic variants across marmoset colonies and how they modified the cellular composition and the circuitry of precise prefrontal cortical areas. The long term aim of the team project is to manipulate specific circuits and understand the behavioral consequences on brain function, namely in vocal communication.
